Dancing past

I fell in love with dance at the age of five. It was a moody evening. I was hanging out with my aunt in my little village and stuck at our nearby baalawadi. I think it was a holyday. Still the baalawadi was open for a dance practice. The tiny tiny benches were kept back to the only hall there. That was the very first time i watched a dancer so close. The pretty girl (I think she was in high school that time, but prettier than ever.) was dancing beautifully. Her feets adorned with anklets were reflecting on the black oxide cladded floor. I cant recall when us leave the place, wheather i talked about dance and all. But in a week i gave dakshina to the same dance master- Aravindakshan master. I can't remember his face clearly now, but I remember his movements and even the pale coloured jubba he used to wear...
